Eliza didn't want to be fed tonight. She wanted to feed herself, and kept grabbing the spoon from Daddy. He decided to let her have a try at it, and everything went well at first.
But, it got much messier after this video...
Eliza can't walk, but she can tackle three flights of stairs with ease. Mommy was there to document her ascent.
We went on a little shopping excursion in downtown Portland the day before leaving, and Eliza loved riding the light rail and street cars. To our surprise, she even knew the proper safety procedures and grabbed the hand loops each time we boarded. She didn't want to let go when we reached each of our stops.
After a few days of endless snow and a constantly changing weather system, we decided to chang-up our plans and go to Eugene early. Eliza has been having a swell time with her cousins, and has loved ripping open her many presents.
To grandmother's house we go. Headed South to see Grandma Cathy and the Springfield kin. It's slow going!
