Eliza and Nathanael Green.
Today we strolled around downtown Greenville, and baby Eliza stopped for a moment to pose with Revolutionary War hero Nathanael Green (the father of Greenville). How did she know it'd make for a perfect photo leading up to Independence Day this week? That's one smart baby we got here.
She's getting the hang of it!
Solo feeding, originally uploaded by littlelostrobot.
Eliza loves feeding herself, but she's not quite ready for the bigger bottles. Since it was hot outside today, we decided to give her some cold water in a practice bottle. She did pretty well!
Her trick: using her her feet to lift the bottle.

Eliza definitely isn't a fan of her new meat-based baby food: Beef, Carrots and Corn.
A book before bedtime!
Grammy Lew and Mommy read a cute story to Eliza before bed tonight. She was so captivated with all the pictures that it distracted her from her favorite story time activity: kicking the book.
Little Miss Soapy Suds!
Here's a shot from Eliza at bath time - which she absolutely loves. We had exactly five seconds to take this shot before she'd start rubbing soap all over the place.
Mommy's little helper.
Eliza loves to help get clothes out of the dryer and help Mommy fold them. Okay, she's just around for the ride....but she still had a fun time and enjoys riding in her magical basket chariot.
Baby's learning to feed herself!
While we were enjoying a nice evening snack and drinks, Eliza decided she wouldn't wait around and started feeding herself. Now if she can only change her own diapers...
