Before leaving the Savannah area on Memorial Day, we made a stop at Tybee Island, where Eliza and her pal Kensie had fun in the sand and the surrounding tide pools.
Pirate Pals!
We made a long trek across the streets of Savannah to have dinner at the famous Pirate's House. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere really brought out the girls' inner pirates.
Eliza & Chase - two little buddies
Eliza was so happy to be reunited with her good pal Chase McGuire. These two
kids sang, danced, held hands. played with bugs and ran up to scary space
creatures for photo ops. Eliza was convinced this was Shrek who she knows is a
nice ogre. I guess that's why she has a huge grin on her face.
Swimming with Daddy
Eliza loves the pool. She been "doggy paddling" between Mommy and Daddy. Her swimming lessons start in a few weeks. Looks like she'll be a natural.
Star Tours premiere party
Eliza attended the red carpet premiere for the new Star Tours ride. She was scared on the ride, but not of the characters. She met a bunch of aliens, space things and robots. More photos to come!
Greetings from Cinderella Castle!
We're spending a few days at Disney during our media tour, and last night we had special front-row seats to the amazing new light show.
Looking for animals
We're at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Eliza's trying to look for animals, but it's pretty dark! We did see some giraffe and antelope.
Mother's Day Shabbat celebration

Here's a quick clip that Daddy shot of Eliza's class in the gym at school on Friday during a special, Mother's Day version of Shabbat.
Eliza really loved having Mommy come to school in the middle of the day to sing and play with her.
Third Anniversary Pool Party
Today marks three years since we adopted Eliza. What an amazing three years it's been - packed with many adventures. We feel fortunate each and every day to be a family.
On this Mother's Day, Mom & daughter are having a backyard pool party while Dad cleans the house.
Tuesday night dinner out
Eliza got to go to her favorite restaurant for dinner - PF Chang's. When the waitress arrived, she politely ordered a coke and rice. She was such a good girl that she got a chocolate cake shooter and a fortune cookie for dessert. That's the look of a contented kid.
